The path has no connection to Barrangary Road, but instead curves around and the first connection with the road network is at Forge Crescent.

After a brief piece of asphalt at the railway access point, the path reverts to a soggy soft surface for the unexpectedly steep climb.

Other than the barriers in #87543, a good job has been made of the replacement footbridge at Hillington.

A segregated cycle lane at Saucel Street that doesn't connect up with the main road (behind camera).

Faded footway cycle route (which only goes around the corner and into the supermarket) starts without a dropped kerb, and faded on-road cycle lane.

Rather than continue the short distance to connect up with the cycle path from Lochwinnoch station to the village, the roundabout-avoiding cycle path just gives up with a dropped kerb and a lit 'End of Route' sign. The footway gets so narro ... [more]

The only sign that indicates that the cycle route is on the footway, and these two didn't realise that the route went straight on here rather than following the road around the bend.

This shared-use footway is far too narrow, but space on road wasted with hatching! No dropped kerb for crossing side street either.

One of Renfrewshire's beautiful cycle paths. Designed to be used to cross the road and onto the shared use path which begins on the other side. Awful surface and full of litter.

Cyclists have not been considered in the revised road layout. These traffic signals have been installed without any provision being made for the cycle route, possibly because there wasn't any special provision before the junction was signal ... [more]

The two-way cycle track used to be protected by bollards, but they've been removed, leaving cyclists cycling into on-coming traffic with no separation. The road markings are badly worn, so there is little to tell motorists to stay off this ... [more]

The two-way cycle track is not linked into the junction, it just ends and cyclists have to find their own way across. None of the crossings are toucan crossings and the road is one-way.

Random start to pavement cycle track along Mossland Drive, with no dropped kerb at start. The adjoining Hillington Road is a far busier road and has no cycle facilities, not even at the motorway junction.

Relics Location: , Kilbarchan (Scotland, United Kingdom) The old station platform at Kilbarchan. I liked when stations and other railway fixtures were still in evidence.

Give Way to a fence! It would be more appropriate to put the Give Way in at the road crossing, which is closer to a blind corner off to the left.

Paisley to Barrhead cycle path, leaving Paisley. Not sure what the Give Way is about.
